Cheap Tummy Tuck
|
Question: Has anyone ever looked *forward* to surgery? As most of you know, I am a large person.
Actually, I'm not large -- I am,
in the most accurate sense, morbidly obese. That means I weigh more than
100 pounds over my ideal weight. I have to lose a whole other fat
person to hit 'normal'... And, if I don't make some changes, this *will* kill me -- slowly or quickly, I don't know, but I do know it will.
I am not a candy/sweets freak, I don't eat everything in sight and I don't
sit and snack all day and night. I am, however, cursed with the worlds'
slowest metabolism and I am insulin dependent, which makes you gain weight.
I have tried doctor approved diets, I have tried fad diets, I have tried the
pills, powders, potions and anything else I can think of. I *do* exercise (walking) and I *do* watch what I eat, but nothing helps. The best I have
been able to do is maintain my current weight, with a major stuggle.
So, after doing some checking with my insurance carrier, a lot of thinking
and talking to the kids/David, I have decided to take an extreme, yet
necessary, step. I am going to -- later this summer -- undergo
gastroplasty, or stomach stapling.
And, I am so darned excited I could burst!
What's your opinions? Can anyone give me comments?
Answer: I know this is surgery that you're looking forward to,
but I can't let you go in there without a hug! I mean pretty soon
there'll be less of you ...
If it keeps you from posting for a little while, just think about the
years it might add to your posting life overall!
Strength and Luck, and a tummy tuck!
What I meant was, I hope it achieves results for you with a minimum of
discomfort and a maximum of improved self-image and well being.
