Dangers Of Liposuction

Question: I work out 6 days a week. I'm 5'5" and 135lbs. I'm in pretty good shape
exept for my "womanly fat". (inner thighs,hips..) I am considering
liposuction. Is this a bad word in the fitness world?
Can anyone can share with me your opinion?
Answer: For some people, liposuction is the only way to clobber that last
little bit of flab.
One thing is to make very sure of the credentials of the doctor doing
this procedure... since it's one of the few types of medical practice
that's not tied down by the insurance companies, about any type of
doctor may (and can, legally) try doing it for a quick buck.
It is natural for women tend to carry fat around their hips and
thighs. If you have that pear shaped figure, maybe you should consider
focusing on building up your upper body. Go for the hour glass look. Don't
try to spot reduce on the hips and thighs...many women make that mistake!
Don't do heavy weights on leg work...keep it light. Focus more on cardio to
burn the fat. Forget the lipo...it's dangerous...and can leave you
disfigured! Be comfortable with how you look!
