How Much Does A Tummy Tuck Cost

Question:

The strange thing is that until this past year I never put on fat in the stomach area. Sure, I didn't want to expose my belly and pierce my navel or anything, but it was flat enough. It just seems that for some reason this time I gained fat between the waist and hips, where before it was always in the hips and thighs only. It affects how my clothes fit because with my hips and thighs the size they are I would be able to fit into smaller sizes if it weren't for the "belly"! It seems to be shrinking "out of sync" with the rest of me - hips get smaller, then the stomach follows, hips get smaller, then... and so on. So if I wear jeans that fit the thighs and hips nicely I have gut spillover which looks gross.

I know it will go away and I'm trying to be patient about it. I do Pilates exercises and crunches for strength; I know spot reduction doesn't work. But, when I've worked those muscles I feel better and stronger and stand taller and my gut feels smaller - it isn't really but I feel better about it.

So, how much does a tummy tuck cost?

Answer:

I don't tuck in a shirt (something I always wanted to do) because the jeans seem to ball everything up towards the front and I look like I have a bubble tummy.

I know what you mean. I walk out of the gym feeling stronger and taller, so something is happening. (Yes, I know there is no such thing as spot reduction, too. I go to the gym for an "all over" thing)

if you ever find a two-for-one deal, give me a call I have noticed that my "apron" is getting smaller, but it is also getting floppier. A swimsuit without a skirt will not be in the cards for me this year. I tried a one-piece the other day and instantly got depressed.

I doubt I'd ever get a tummy tuck, to be honest. I just get so frustrated with this loose skin and fat. I can grab it and pull it out and it seems like there's so little substance to it that it could just be "removed", you know what I mean? It's not allover fat, just a, well, a tire. And not fully inflated, either. It is decreasing.
