Question: I've tried everything, but no matter what I do, these darn saddlebags
on my thighs just won't go away. I'm not overweight, in fact I'm
slightly underweight. I exercise regularly, and follow a good,
healthy diet. It's the genetics that are getting me. All of the
women in my family are of the pear-shaped variety. I know I should be
able to accept the body I was born with, but I won't. I hate the
little bulges that ruin the line of my clothing. I'm tired of wearing
long shirts to cover them. I've finally decided to try liposuction.
I'm scared though...it's very expensive, what if it doesn't work?
What if I look worse _after_ the procedure? Is there anyone out there
who has done it and would care to share their experiences with me?
Answer: I am thinking of having liposuction on my stomach. These are the things I
am thinking about after having studied liposuction, you might want to go
through your situation is a similar way:
The risk of serious problems with liposuction is quite low, so I am not
really thinking much about that. In my case, age is a factor as I am
pushing 40. (I don't feel it!) That may mean my skin will not "snap back"
as a younger person's would and I might end up looking worse naked. My
belly bulge is invisible in all but the clingiest of clothes, and Hanes
Smooth Illusions takes care of it in the tightest things I would dare wear.
I have also heard I would not be able to have children if the fat is
taken from some parts. So, I am shifing towards a "No". But in about a
year, I will get a professional opinion and make a final decision.
