Liposuction San Antonio

Question:

RASPBERRIES to whomever in our monolithic military complex decided that the U.S. Army's slogan, "Be all you can be," includes becoming surgically enhanced at taxpayer expense.

According to the July 26 edition of The New Yorker magazine, medical benefits extended to all branches of the military include "free face-lifts, breast implants, liposuction and nose jobs" at military hospitals.

What's your ideas? Anything more to share with me?

Answer:

The military's rationale is that performing occasional elective "vanity" surgery keeps doctors prepared for the intricate reconstructive surgery needed to repair disfiguring combat wounds.

"Anyone wearing a uniform is eligible,"the doctor as a chief of plastic surgery at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, reportedly said. The only complication mentioned is whether the surgery candidate can get the time off from his or her commanding officer.

So who in the military would take advantage of this free, under-reported benefit?

Between 2000 and 2003, the surgeons reported performing 361 liposuction procedures and 496 breast enhancements on military personnel or their relatives.
