Male Tummy Tuck

Question: Does anyone know the co$t difference between a tummy tuck and lipo? I think
I would need that more than lipo, I'm 130lbs, but can't get rid of the spongy
like pot belly that I've had since I was a kid..... What does a tummy tuck
go for? anyone had it?
Answer: After I had my lipo, a girlfriend was comparing tummy tucks and lipo. It
seemed like the tummy tuck would have been about 5500, and tummy lipo would
have been around 2500-3000. She oprted for the lipo, and was very
disappointed. Her spongy stomach didn't look much better after...in fact, I
think her stomach looked spongier after the lipo.
I had a tummy tuck last year. I don't mind sharing that it cost me close to $9k
(and worth every last cent). My doctor told me that under some circumstances
the insurance company will cover it. I damn near made the criteria after my
lumbar vertebrae kept going out of whack because I had no abdominal muscles to
support them. If it weren't for the fact that I have an HMO, it might have
been covered. I ended up with 4 hours under the knife to re-attach my
abdominal muscles that had been separated from giving birth to twins.
