Mini Abdominoplasty Cost
|
Question: I recently lost over 114 lbs, and now I am into bodybuilding. My first competition is
April 7th, and is a novice level. The only problem I have is getting rid of
loose skin in my abd. section. Any tips?
Any other suggestions such as creams, supplements etc? I heard Prep. H
works but it is more of a day of competition thing.
Answer: I thought you meant you wanted to get rid of the loose skin. Covering it up
cosmetically is a whole other question. I'm sure there are tricks that work.
I don't have a clue what they are.
I'm in the same boat having lost close to 70. Unfortunately,
cosmetic surgery may be the only way to go... especially if you are planning
on competing. If you opt for this... find someone good. I will post a link
of before and after pictures in the sig. I carried quite a bit of flab in
the lower ab area and have to hide it by lifting up the shorts above the
belly button.
After loosing 100 lbs i have the same problem. I had my BF%
measured at 8.75% but still look a bit flabby in some areas due to the loose
skin problem. The owner of the gym I belong too says limiting salt intake
and drinking lots of water can help. From personal experience everytime I go
on a leaning phase it seems to tighten up a little bit. I dont worry about
it that much but I do sometimes wish it was just fat as thats easy to get
rid of.
there are 5 types of abdomens 1 - requires no surgical treatment 2 - is best treated with liposuction only 3 - is best treated with a combination of liposuction & a mini
abdominoplasty/tummy tuck 4 - is best treated with a combination of liposuction & a modified
abdominoplasty/tummy tuck 5 - is best treated with a combination of liposuction & a standard
abdominoplasty.
In relatively few cases there is little or no liposuction needed in a
specific patient who lies in one of these categories.
