Mini Tummy Tuck Before And After

Question:

I am 36, am 4'10" tall and weight about 130 lbs. I just had twins in April :). I did weigh about this much before I got pregnant with them so they are not the cause. I just had abdominal surgery on October 2 to correct a hernia and separation of the abdominal wall (the twins DID cause this). The doctor also removed all the loose skin (basically I had a tummy tuck). I am healing very well from these and I can start up exercising again. I just got new sneakers and used to be a runner so I am raring to go again. I really don't eat very well. Most of the problem is lack of time (I also have a 2 year old). It is so hectic at our house all the time (until everyone goes to bed around 10pm) that sometimes I just don't have time to eat dinner (like last night). I do ok for breakfast and lunch because I eat them at work (all the kids are in daycare). I need very convenient, easy, not much preparation time meals for dinners. I also don't know if I could attend any meetings because the one in my area (I live near Louisville, Colorado) is from 5-6pm on Tuesday and Wednesday and I have to pick my 2 year old up at daycare at 5:30 every day. I do think the points way of eating is the way for me since I could use more points are night when I don't have the healthiest things to eat. I do try to drink lots of water during the day. And as for preparing meals on the weekends, forget it. I barely have time to breath on the weekends. We moved into our new house on Sept. 25 and still have tons to boxes to unpack. We can't seem to get a moments peace. It really is non-stop madness in our house.

Any advice or help for me?. I would like to lose between 10-30 pounds. I have a pretty small frame so these extra pounds look really bad on me.

Answer:

It sounds as tho you have a very busy, hectic Life with working outside the home and 3 babies as well! I know there is an At-Home program available in the States( not here in Canada , tho ) Maybe that would work for you. It is important that somehow you try to find even
1/2 an hour in the day to set aside for yourself. Otherwise , your daily responsibilities can feel very overwhelming. Trust me, you are worth it, and by looking after yourself, you will be better equipped to look after others.

LEARN all you can about the importance of getting to your desired weight.. Whatever way of eating you do, learn all about it. I do Weight Watchers, I learned about WW and am making it my life's journey. That is what we on the WW website are doing.. so join us! There is a great website that I like to tell people about built and written by a fellow WW member... she has filled her website with GREAT ideas, tips, ways she lost, before and after pics... I highly recommend you click on this link and look around. I go there for inspiration and motivation.

Snack during the day using healthy foods. There are a lot of good ideas on here to be had, keep your eyes open. Junk food binges usually happen because your body has had an insulin spike after a meal, and if you satisfy that craving or urge to eat, put something good in your tummy instead of junk... by eating junk food... you slide back, your exercise will have been for nothing, as you are giving your body more fat to store. MAKE YOUR EXERCISE COUNT!! Nothing tastes as good as slim feels REMEMBER THAT. Joanie's Dr. recommends chromium for cravings.. the doctor said that if she takes one with the main meal, it will help to even out your blood sugar level, and thereby prevents cravings.
