Mini Tummy Tuck Cost
|
Question: Have any of you considered it? Have you decided for it? Against it? Why or
why not?
I've lost my weight, but I hate my tummy. So what do I do about it?
Excercise won't fix it. Losing more weight won't fix it. I'm wanting to move on and
think about something else for a while. Tummy tuck? Mini-tummy tuck for the
worst of it? or come to terms with it somehow? And how?
Can anyone give me some suggestions?
Answer: I'm considering it enough that it's tentatively planned for summer 2005. I
decided that I'm working hard to lose this weight, get fit and maintain it
and I should treat myself to something that will help me look better, even
if it's just for myself. I am not genetically blessed with elastic skin.
My mom had a tuck done many years after giving birth to two children. She
was never obese or even really overweight, she exercised and took care of
her skin but the pouch never went away. I've been obese all of my life (until now) and my stomach has hung down for more than 20 years now. There
is no way it will every be flat without surgical intervention.
Just had a consultation for a laproscopic procedure I'm having at the end of
Nov. and the doctor even recommended a good plastic surgeon in my area "if I
was considering a tummy tuck." He said that it really helps some women feel
better about their bodies.
I would just go for a consultation if I were you. Then you can get an idea
of what to expect and the cost, etc. and make a more informed decision.
