Mini Tummy Tuck
|
Question: Anyone have mini tummy tuck? Were you satisfied?
I have had 2 children, I am thin and fit but have lots of excess skin
above and below my belly button (including stretch marks) A plastic
surgeon told me I could get away with a mini tuck...do they move your
belly button too becuase my skin above the button is stretched too?
If anyone one has had a mini tuck...where you statisfied with the
results
can anyone give me some suggestions?
Answer: I too have checked into this but haven't had the time or the money
to do anything about it. Like you, I am thin and was thin when I
became pregnant (92lbs). Even though I've lost all the weight/fat,
I have "loose" skin above and below my belly button also. When I
had my consult, I was told they would move my belly button but only
slighty. It's nice to know I'm not the only one.
A mini tummy tuck is a good option if there is not a lot of excess
skin to remove, and the patient is interested in minimizing a bulging
lower abdomen.
There are only a limited number of people who qualify for a mini
tummy tuck. Most women after pregnancy have stretched out their
muscle and skin above their navel. The mini tummy tuck is a popular
option for women seeking to return to pre-pregnancy abdominal firmness.
A mini tummy tuck is also a good option for men looking to reduce
excess tissue after weight loss or even gastric bypass surgery.
