Prices For Abdominoplasty

Question: Does anyone have experience with Doctors
who are on a par with Ousterhaut, but cost less
money?
My therapist recommends Dr. Reardon in NY.
Does anyone know of his work? I found his
website but it concentrates on F2Ms. I want
someone who is very experienced in this.
Can anyone give me some suggestions?
Answer: I have been trying to learn all of the essential facial surgery info. and to
figure out the best strategies for getting the procedures I want accomplished for
some time now. I saw Ousterhout for a consult a couple of months ago. I had
heard he was expensive but people writing about him usually just say he's
expensive w/o actually giving examples of actual prices (I've read Andrea James'
web site thoroughly). For me, he was going to charge $27,500 for forehead, chin,
nose, tracheal shave (only $1,500 of that amount), and slight cuts to the rear of
the lower jaw bone on each side. No cheekbone, lip, or jaw contouring (my jaw is
very narrow) -- $27,000
Basically, everything written in the thread above matches my conclusions so far.
My current plans then are that I will try to get as much done by carefully
selected, experienced surgeons, who are genuinely interested in MtF
transformations, and to get my forehead and scalp reduction done by Dr. O (and
perhaps the jaw cuts). I'll probably save a lot of money, hopefully giving up
very little on results. When I think of all the other things that I want done --
mammoplasty, abdominoplasty, SRS, maybe rib excision, cheekbone work, lips, etc.
-- the costs seem overwhelming. I'm really torn though between my usual plan of
not settling for anything less than the best and feeling like I will never get
everything taken care of if I simply choose to go with the big guns -- Meltzer,
Ousterhout, etc. -- for all my procedures (much as I would like to). This
Saturday I'll be having surgery on cheekbones and upper and lower jaw contouring,
and if a loan comes through in time, chin reduction and maybe even lip enhancement
done by a San Diego oral surgeon/M.D. with a plastic surgery accreditation.
