Recovery From Abdominoplasty
|
Question: What is the recovery like from an Abdominoplasty?
I am considering this proceedure and was wondering
what the recovery is like and what the variations
in pricing is like.
Can anyone give me some suggestions or information?
I've tried to search this information but not effectively.
Answer: Prices can range anywhere from $5000-$10000 (or more).
The recovery can be hell for the first week, depending
on how extensive the abdominoplasty is (you can get a
"full" or "mini"). You don't realize how much you use
your stomach muscles until they're sore. After the
first week or so, though, it gets easier.
it depends what type you get.....this website will
help you find which abdominoplasty you want

Abdominoplasty - After your surgery
For the first few days, your abdomen will probably
be swollen and you are likely to feel some discomfort
which can be controlled by medication. Depending on
the extent of the surgery, you may be released within
a few hours or remain in the hospital for several days.
Our hospital features an ambulatory package included in
their facility fee. Some of our patients elect to stay
in the hospital for this 23 hours (or less) stay to see
if they are comfortable on oral medications or want
something stronger. Do not rush, let the nurses help
you get ready for home care. Depending on the extent
of the Tumescent Tummy Tuck with the added comfort
this technique provides.
