Recovery Time For Tummy Tuck
|
Question: Does anyone have any idea what percentage of models/tv stars have fake
breasts?
I am planning on undergoing surgery. Going to get the tummy tuck and
get new boobs, and depending on the progress I make dropping bodyfat over
the next year or two, perhaps lipo. My cups are a B now, but I hate the way
they droop, and the loose skin on my tummy just seems to get worse as the
weight comes off. I want to make sure I'm not going to have anymore kids
before I take this step obviously, and so I'm just waiting to see how my
relationship progresses. At this time, we both are on the fence about kids.
It's funny, bf likes me just fine the way I am, doesn't care one way or
another, but I really want to get it done.
What's your opinion?
Answer: Give your tummy at least a year to shrink. Seriously - looking at
the photos of the tummy tucks - they leave nasty scars behind. I'd
rather not do a tummy tuck if you don't have to.
I'm waiting the year mainly for the recovery time - I need the
vacation time built up. I hate the thought of wasting a week or 2 of
vacation on recovery. But, we've talked about it and agreed that if
this is something I want to do, then I'll do it. I've got a year (or
more) to find research to convince me otherwise.
Also, as for the lipo for me - I'd rather spend the year working out
to try to get rid of a few problems spots before I consider somethign
like that. Lipo is a very "hard on the body" surgery.
