Tuck That Tummy

Question:

I have lots of stretchmarks and loose kin around navel. Is there a procedure except tummy tuck that could help?

My waist is quite tiny and so I have been told a tummy tuck would not work for me as there is no excess skin. But even with a flat tum my belly looks awful as I hav stretchmarks really big raised ones around my navel.

I f I had a tummy tuck then the belly button would be repositioned in a bit of smooth skin but I am not fat. What can you suggest?

Answer:

I wouldn't worry about your figure sweetie, I have the same from having a child, and I'm proud of my body. I know it can feel a bit upsetting because it doesn't look the same any more, just keep up the exercise and use some fake tan

I wonder if scar reduction patches would help with the raised areas - I can't recall the name of the ones I used, but they can smooth scars, which I think a stretchmark is a type of. I know Elastoplast do them, but the ones I used were large and you kept them on for a month or two at a time, washed them and reapplied. Ask at the chemist. It won't help with the loose skin, but may make it less obvious. And the fake tan is a great idea.
