Tummy Tuck Pregnancy
|
Question: I have just had my first c-section and have a question. When you have a second
c-section do they re-cut on the same scar or do they make an entirely new scar?
I am pretty sure that I will want a repeat c-section instead of VBAC, but I
dont want more than one scar.
can anyone give me some advice?
Answer: I've had 4 csections ...... if your csec was a bikini they will just
use the same scar over and over again..... my first one was 14 1/2 yrs
ago and it was a vertical(up and down) cut .... but my other 3 were
bikini and all used the same bikini cut scar..... and the one i'm
having now will also be on same scar line......
word of caution with csec.... if you have the chance to vbac .... do it
by all means ..... csec. are major surgery and eventually become a
problem ..... i know .... this pregnancy has been nothing but pain from
the day the baby started kicking..... having all my csecs in one scar
has created some major adheasions (scar tissue) and it's very
painful ... also after my 2nd csec i could never get a flat tummy
again ... plus many other reasons .... so if you can go vbac my advice
is do it...... i would have given anything for the doctor to let me
vbac but he said it wasn't an option ....
Same incision. And actually my scar looks better after the 2nd c-section.
My Dr fixed what the first one did. Lol. The Dr also removed some scar
tissue. I didn't have any problems with my 2nd pregnancy from scar tissue
or anything from the 1st c-section.
