Tummy Tuck Problems
|
Question: Has anyone out there going through or has gone through this? It could be a
woman going through this too with her husband. Looking at my wifes pot-belly
pisses me off almost to the point of wanting to just get out. I do love her
and wouldn't want to. Talking about it starts fights and I'm afraid to tell
her again, is there any advice out there?
Can anyone gie me some ideas?
Answer: One of my friends is having a tummy tuck in a month. (It seems to be a
Christmas present!) I blinked hard when she told me because of all the women
of my acquaintance she is possibly the least in need of it - physically,
anyway. She's lovely! ..... perhaps it's something about being only a
jot away from perfection - it makes it seem obtainable.
I'm 5' 11" and weigh 155 lbs. My wife has been on diets, I went on them as
well to supported them. Junk food is an issue in our house - if it were
soley up to me we'd have none. We have one child. I talked to my wife about
this before we were married as well I didn't set it as a condition but made
my feeling known.
I try to look my best and expect that from my wife. I understand we all get
run-down with age. I am not an angry, superficial person but I do did blow
my stack about this once. She was upset, I was relieved to let it out.
I guess I'm afraid she'll end up like her sister - 5'6" and over 250 lbs,
her sister has three kids, all teen agers and the oldest kid (boy) is 100
lbs heavier than I (In fact I'm thinner than the youngest!). I can't believe
how these people eat, all of them have health problems as well.
I know some of you hate me for saying all this, and I accept that. I don't
have anywhere else to turn or anyone to talk to. If any of you are dealing
with this and have any suggestions thanks.
