Tummy Tuck Procedures
|
Question: Would anyone recommend a tummy tuck procedure?
If so is it safe? Is it worth it?
I always hear from people that its not safe having a tummy tuck,
or liposuction done on your body, because they say it's very dangerous,
and that in time one's fatty cells grow back. I am thinking of getting
a one or the other done but I am just worried about finding the right
surgeon, and wondering if the fatty cells on my tummy will grow back?
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Answer: You need to check out your surgeon. You need to be realistic about how much
fat and skin can be removed. You need to exercise and firm up underneath for
best results. Do net searches, and look for professional memberships in the
surgeons specialty. Get recommendations. Watch the shows on Discovery Health
and get educated.
Any time you need to go under anesthesia it is dangerous and if your Doctor
is not advising you of that then you need to see a new Doctor. So many things
can go wrong. Everyone knows at least 1 horror story so I won't add any.
Are you that unhappy with your body that you would take a chance on surgery
as the solution. Come on, a good exercise program, eating healthy and smartly
and knowledge is all you need.
Don't do it!!! Three reasons not to get surgery: Your beautiful the way you
are, its dangerous to get surgery, and you probably will look uglier before
or more medical problems. If you're not happy with your stomach, seek a cure.
Weight gain can be caused by your lifestyle- try to exercise more or eat
healthier. It can also be triggered by menopause due to a hormonal imbalance.
Your endocrine gland can misfunction, which also triggeres weight gain.
Herbs and hormonal cures can cure that.
