Tummy Tuck Risks
|
Question: My wife and I built our house about 12 years ago. This year, we put some
money aside to update the place with some painting, new furniture, etc.
Today she mentioned that she was thinking about maybe having a tummy tuck and
some work done to take out some of the wrinkles.
After assuring her quite sincerely that I thought it wasn't needed, I
told her that was fine, she could take the money from the remodelling acount.
She hit me.
Can anyone give me some suggestions?
Answer: She would do anything to avoid more surgery, even eat
healthy, exercise, or actually do her physical therapy. No tummy tuck for her.
Money matters are funny. I wanted a new Camaro last year, real bad. A red one.
Then the stock market went to hell, Sept. 11, my friends and I
didn't get one. This year, I could have bought a Camaro with the tax refund,
but I painted the house instead. No matter how bad off you are, there is always
someone worse off. Tell her there is this poor guy in Colorado who hasn't had a
new car in three years.
